Recording Studio

The Recording Studio, located in the George Center, welcomes both budding and seasoned musicians at Georgetown Prep.

It offers an alternative space for students to express their creativity and learn new skills used in the professional music industry. Students have the opportunity to write, record and produce their own songs, and also collaborate with their peers and faculty members.

The professional studio houses Pro Tools recording software, a dedicated vocal booth and a variety of instruments and microphones.

With the help of the recording professionals at Pick-Up Productions (co-owned by Sean Gaiser ’98), two compilations are produced each year. CD copies are available in the Studio.

Use of the studio during regular hours of the school day is free. Studio sessions during the summer or non-school hours are hosted at $60/hour. For more information or to schedule a studio session, please contact
