Leinster Rugby Skills Clinic at Georgetown Preparatory School

Leinster Rugby is a world-leading professional rugby organization located in Dublin, Ireland, with an unrivaled track record in developing rugby talent. Leinster’s rugby athletes currently represent over 70% percent of the Irish Rugby national team, currently ranked number one by World Rugby. The Rugby Skills Clinic aims to develop smart and skillful rugby players and inspire the mindset and training habits that will help them achieve their full potential. Leinster is now offering its highly successful camp at Georgetown Prep.
The 2-day camp is for boys and girls aged 14-18 and will be held on Saturday, July 20 and Sunday, July 21, 2024 from, 9:00 a.m-3:00 p.m each day. The clinic will be held on rugby pitch on the south side of the Georgetown Prep campus.
The Rugby Skills Clinic will provide campers the opportunity to learn to play the Leinster way, as they gain a greater understanding of the game and learn about values such as teamwork, commitment, integrity, and communication. Campers should expect a structured rugby development program, emphasizing skill development, game understanding, activity and enjoyment. In particular, campers will develop core rugby skills and learn to perform them under challenging conditions through coaching in a professional environment.
Our camp director is Colin O’Hare, the Leinster-appointed Syracuse University Head Coach is a highly experienced professional with over 25 years of coaching experience with Leinster Rugby. He will be joined by several Leinster coaches.
