Having been a member of the Prep community for the past 40 years as a student-athlete, alumnus, assistant coach, Dean of Students, Head Varsity Football Coach and Director of Athletics, it gives me great pride in welcoming you to Georgetown Prep and its athletic program.

The Georgetown Prep Athletic Department is designed to provide an environment in which each student is given the opportunity to become a spiritually, intellectually, and physically stronger person. Prep focuses on each student as a complete person and encourages him to explore all aspects of human experience. It is the goal of Prep’s Athletic Department to foster an atmosphere that enables the student-athlete not only to be coached the intricacies of his individual sport but to learn the values and lessons of life that are closely associated with the Ignatian experience.

Georgetown Prep has a lasting and well-known reputation of fielding teams that respect the traditions and high standards of each individual sport. Our student-athletes compete with determination, desire, and integrity. Prep has won 101 conference championships and numerous tournaments since the start of the 2000 school year. Due to their efforts, they bring honor to their school and earn respect and admiration from their opponents. Prep has won the I.A.C. Founder's Cup presented to the school for overall athletic excellence 14 of the past 16 years.

Georgetown Prep changed my life forever. Prep along with my parents, coaches, teachers and friends formed who I am today. I encourage you to learn more about Prep because it is a life changing experience that creates a spirit that will guide you forever.
