Georgetown Prep Lacrosse Camp

  • Led by varsity head lacrosse coach Scott Urick and his staff, this half-day instructional camp is geared towards experienced lacrosse players looking to develop their game.

  • Our Boys Elite Lacrosse Camp offers five days of focused skill sessions and competitive games with an emphasis on the fundamentals and team concepts taught at the high school and collegiate levels.

  • Each camper will receive a reversible pinnie and other special giveaways!

Prerequisite: Previous experience on a club/travel team

Coach Biography

Scott Urick is the head coach of Georgetown Prep's Varsity Lacrosse team. Prior to his time at Prep, Coach Urick previously coached at Georgetown University, Cornell University, and the University of the District Columbia. Over his eleven years as assistant coach and offensive coordinator at Georgetown, the Hoyas finished ranked top ten in the country in seven of those seasons, and Coach Urick helped 24 players earn All-American accolades during that stretch.

As a player, Coach Urick is one of the most decorated players in Georgetown University lacrosse history. He captained the 1999 and 2000 teams, was named All-American as a junior and senior, and is Georgetown's all-time leading goal scorer. Coach Urick spent nine seasons playing professionally in Major League Lacrosse (MLL) and led team USA to a silver medal in the World Lacrosse Championships in 2006, leading the team in goals scored. He is a member of the Potomac Chapter of the US Lacrosse, James W. Robinson High School, and Georgetown University Athletic hall of fames.
