Andrew Hilgartner
Head Lacrosse Coach
Assistant Dean for Career and College Athletic Placement
Coach Hilgartner brings over 25 years of experience as an educator and lacrosse coach. For the past 17 seasons, he led the McDonogh School to a 223–72 record, including four MIAA league championships (2016, 2022, 2023, 2024). A graduate of Calvert Hall College High School and Michigan State University—where he captained the lacrosse team—Hilgartner is also the co-founder of the National High School Lacrosse Showcase and founder of the Maryland Lacrosse Tournament.
In addition to coaching at Georgetown Prep, he will serve full-time as Assistant Dean for Career and College Athletic Placement, supporting student-athletes and all Prep students as they pursue internships, externships, and collegiate athletic opportunities.
