Georgetown Prep Soccer

Georgetown Prep Soccer strives to provide players with an experience that is rigorous and rewarding. The Little Hoyas play in the competitive Interstate Athletic Conference (IAC) with Bullis, Landon, St. Albans, Episcopal, and St. Stephens. Prep has won the conference 16 times, most recently in 2018. In addition, the team consistently tests itself against the strongest out-of-conference teams in the area. Recent opponents have included Gonzaga, DeMatha, Churchill, Good Counsel, and the Heights, among others.

The Little Hoyas roster consists of student-athletes who aspire to play collegiately and young men for whom soccer is a secondary activity. We encourage multi-sport athletes to compete, while seeking to add more players who desire to play at the next level. Over the last ten years, graduates have gone on to play collegiately at Salisbury University, Yale University, University of Denver, Gettysburg College, Union College, St. Mary’s College of Maryland, Bucknell University, St. Joseph’s, Muhlenberg College, and Dayton University. To help showcase our players to collegiate coaches, the team competes in the Mainline College Showcase each fall in Downingtown, Pennsylvania. This showcase event matches Prep against some of the best competition on the east coast. 

Prep Soccer competes at the Varsity, Junior Varsity, and Freshmen levels. All three teams emphasize Jesuit values, competition, fun, and learning to be a good teammate. The Freshmen and JV levels provide a great opportunity for players of different ages and abilities to improve while representing the school.
