December 1-8, 2023


DAY 1: DECEMBER 1, 2023 • DEPART USA FOR ROME 

DAY 2: DECEMBER 2, 2023 • ARRIVAL IN ROME
Upon arrival in Rome, meet your Italian tour manager. Enjoy a Panoramic City Tour where we will pass by the gate of San Sebastiano, through which Ignatius would have entered on Palm Sunday, 1523.
Mass followed by a Group Welcome Reception and Dinner. (D)

DAY 3: DECEMBER 3, 2023 • ROOMS OF ST. IGNATIUS / GESU / LASTORTA  
After breakfast, have Mass at Gesu and visit the Rooms of St. Ignatius. In the afternoon, we will travel to the small Chapel at La Storta, where St. Ignatius walked into Rome to ask for permission to begin the Society of Jesus. This evening, enjoy an evening at leisure. (CB)

DAY 4: DECEMBER 4, 2023 • PATRONS OF THE ARTS / PRIVATE SISTINE CHAPEL TOUR  
After breakfast and Mass, enjoy a day at your leisure. This evening, enjoy a PRIVATE Tour of the Sistine Chapel and Vatican Museums where you will view some of the world’s most inspiring works of art (confirmed) followed by a reception and dinner. (CB, D)

DAY 5: DECEMBER 5, 2023 • ST. PETER’S BASILICA AND SCAVI TOUR  
After Breakfast, celebrate Mass at St. Peter’s Basilica. After Mass, take a guided tour of St. Peter’s Basilica. Then, visit the excavations below St. Peter’s Basilica culminating at the tomb of St. Peter (Scavi Tour; pending confirmation) Group dinner this evening. (CB, D)

DAY 6: DECEMBER 6, 2023 • PAPAL AUDIENCE  
After breakfast, an early departure for the Papal Audience. This afternoon, enjoy a Group Lunch, with Dr. Liz Lev (pending availability) followed by a tour of Ancient Rome. Visit the Coliseum, Capitoline Hill, and the Roman Forum. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure and dinner on your own. (CB, L)

DAY 7: DECEMBER 7, 2023 • CHRISTIAN ROME / VIGIL MASS AT SANT’IGNAZIO  
After breakfast, visit churches important to the Ignaitan history. See the Holy Steps climbed by Christ in Jerusalem and the Basilica of the Holy Cross where some of Christianity’s most important relics are housed, including a piece of the True Cross. Vigil Mass of the Immaculate Conception at Sant’Ignazio and visit the tomb of St. Stanislav at Church of Sant’Andrea al Quirinale. Farewell Dinner at Hotel Eden with entertainment. DAY 8: DECEMBER 8 - RETURN TO USA
Transfer to the airport and depart on your return flights home.

Note: All cancellations must be received in writing. Corporate Travel reserves the right to cancel any reservation if payments are not made according to the payment schedule. Penalties will be determined according to postmark date, or date of the email sent by the canceling passenger.
