Visit Georgetown Preparatory School
Planning a visit to Georgetown Preparatory School is the best way to understand what it means to be a Hoya. Spend a day on campus and you won’t just hear about Prep, you’ll experience it alongside the students who live it every day.
Sit in on classes where discussion drives learning. Walk the quad between periods. Share a meal and conversation with your student host. Along the way, you’ll get an authentic look at a community shaped by Jesuit values where friendships are strong, expectations are high, and students are challenged to grow as scholars, leaders, and men for others.
As the nation’s only Jesuit boarding and day school for boys, Prep offers a distinctive experience both inside and outside the classroom. A visit gives you the chance to see that difference for yourself and to decide if this is the place where your journey should begin.
Schedule your visit today and come see Prep through the eyes of our students.

Hoya for the Day
We welcome interested current 8th grade students (and transfer students) to join us for a day on campus. You will shadow a student and attend classes for a day. This is the best way for prospective students to experience the Prep community and feel what it's like to be a Hoya. You will have a complimentary lunch in the South Dining Hall with your host.
Hoya for a Day registration will be opened the week of August 24 and the visits begin September 15 for current 8th grade students who would like to attend classes for a day. It is also open to current 9th and 10th grade students who are applying to transfer.
Please complete the Inquiry Form to create an Admissions Account and then register for Hoya for the Day through your account. Please share specific interests (sports, clubs, academics, arts) to match with a host by writing it in the "Notes" section, or request a current 9th grade student (we cannot guarantee that specific hosts will always be available when requested). In addition, please complete the Student Questionnaire in advance of the visit to allow us to better tailor each visit.
Drop-off is at 8:00 a.m. in the George Center Admissions Office 2nd floor and pickup is at 3:00 p.m. at the same location. Lunch is provided. Attire is our GP school dress code (tie, slacks, dress shoes, and a blazer after October 1) or your current school uniform. No shorts please.
