Meet the Office
Thank you for considering Georgetown Preparatory School, the oldest Jesuit school in the United States.
We are honored by your interest and look forward to getting to know you through the Admissions process. As you explore Georgetown Prep, we ask you to imagine yourself as a Hoya, part of the next group of talented young men responsible for the care of our centuries-old traditions. Each new class has the potential to leave a mark, to make history, and to answer the question “What is a Hoya?”
Our mission provides the framework for answering that question. We seek to form men of competence, conscience, commitment, and compassion; men of faith, men for others. Ultimately, a Hoya strives to fulfill this mission in the way he carries himself daily.
We welcome you to come experience the only Jesuit boarding school in the country and learn in a global classroom that will challenge and enliven your education. Enjoy the benefits of a small school where our students receive the personal attention necessary to thrive while having exceptional opportunities to participate in sports and co-curricular activities. And be inspired by our historic mission that has changed the world for the better.
Will you make history as a Hoya at Georgetown Prep?

I’m a proud GP 1992 alumni and former resident student from Indiana! It’s an honor to lead the Admissions team to inspire young men to want to become a member of the Georgetown Prep family. We work our tails off here, we love one another, and we share many, many laughs together!
When I’m off campus you’ll find me on my front porch listening to the Black Crowes (it’s a band) with my lovely wife and smiling daughter. We are a family that loves to explore the West with fly rods over our shoulders, curious to know where we are going to set up the tent for the night.

I was born and raised in Princeton, NJ but have called the D.C. Metro area home since matriculating at Georgetown University in 2005, where I majored in English and played outfield for the baseball team. I have been employed in many different capacities at Prep since the moment I graduated from Georgetown, beginning as a baseball coach and dorm parent in 2009 (while still a Yankee fan at heart, I have also developed a dose of Natitude).
I have been working in the Admissions Office since 2012 while continuing to coach baseball and teach English and recently finishing a Masters from Johns Hopkins University. My children and pup also love campus to the fullest and are frequent visitors.
My favorite part of my job is beyond simple––the students, whether current or prospective. I relish the chance to meet a prospective student in 8th grade and then bear witness to his four years of growth at Prep. I love that I am encouraged and able to pursue my passions and hobbies here - literature and baseball - and be the lifelong learner I aspire to.

I am a proud Prep mom of a graduate from the Class of 2021 and a current Hoya in the Class of 2025. I am equally proud of my daughter, a graduate from the Academy of the Holy Cross, who would have attended Prep if she had been able. My family has a long history with Prep. I grew up in Bethesda, MD and my brothers are Prep graduates, along with five nephews who are proud Prep alums.
My love for Jesuit education extends beyond Prep. I received my undergraduate degree from Loyola University Maryland. I am also a graduate of the Columbus School of Law at The Catholic University of America. Following a judicial clerkship, I practiced civil defense litigation throughout the State of Maryland and the District of Columbia. After a number of years at home raising my children though grade school, I joined the Admission team at Prep in 2018. I love working with the new families as they begin to understand what a Prep education has to offer their son.
