Soccer Camp

Join Georgetown Prep’s varsity coaching staff for a fun week of camp that will prepare you for the fall soccer season! Open to boys and girls of all skill levels, this camp will feature position-specific instruction, innovative training sessions, and small-sided games. Each camper will receive a camp t-shirt and other special giveaways!

Grades: Rising 3rd to rising 9th

What to Bring: Lunch (may also be purchased from the Hoya Cafe), soccer ball, cleats or athletic shoes, shin guards, athletic clothes

Director Bio: Brian Danver is Georgetown Prep’s Head Varsity Soccer Coach. Born and raised in the Washington D.C. area, Coach Danver was a high school standout in soccer, ice hockey, and tennis. At Washington College, he played both soccer and tennis and was named a captain of both teams as a junior and senior. He was selected as an Academic All-Region player in soccer and ITF Scholar-Athlete in tennis. Since graduating college in 2009, Coach Danver has taught physical education, history, and Latin at Mater Dei School in Bethesda, Maryland. He earned a Master’s in Humanities at Georgetown University in the liberal studies program in December of 2014. Coach Danver has been a coach at Georgetown Prep since 2010 and led the Hoyas to a top-10 finish in the Washington Post’s final 2019 Boys' Fall Soccer rankings.
