Congratulations to Leo Liu ’25 and Roger Kang ’25, both who have qualified for the United States of America Mathematical Olympiad (USAMO)!! This is an outstanding achievement in mathematics for a high school student. Leo and Roger are not the first Prep students to qualify for the USA Math Olympiad, but they are the first to who will participate.

Today, the Georgetown Prep community welcomed Fr. Joseph M. O'Keefe, S.J., the Provincial of the Eastern Province of the Society of Jesus, for his first visit to Prep's campus. He presided at the morning all-school Mass, followed by visits to several classes including Mr. Julius Tangwe's Theology class along with AP U.S. History, AP Statistics, and AP Spanish Language and Culture.

Georgetown College’s Committee on Colors in 1876 announced it had selected blue and gray for the uniforms of their Boat Club. The College later adopted the blue and gray as the official school colors, and since that year, it has been part of Georgetown University and Georgetown Prep’s identity.

Bobby Elliott graduated from Prep in 1988. He matriculated to the University of Pennsylvania, where he received his B.S. in Economics. Growing up he always had an interest in business, but as the son of a physician, he developed an interest in medicine as well.
Georgetown Prep resident student Dillon Moneypenny ’25 from Darien, CT, and his ice hockey peer from rival Landon School, Reid Pehrkon, are leading the way for teens to try a different kind of shoulder check. After their mutual friend and hockey player Hayden Cole Thorsen, 16, of Darien, CT, died by suicide, the two have lead their respective hockey teams to come together in the name of mental health.
GP sent a delegation of six (6) students from the International Relations Club to the Ivy League Model United Nations (ILMUNC) Conference in Philadelphia, PA sponsored by the University of Pennsylvania. ILMUNC's theme was "Building Bridges, Not Walls" and featured teams from all over the nation and as far away as Brazil and China.
