Students Participate in Model OAS


Congratulations to the joint Georgetown Prep/Stone Ridge Model OAS Team which received recognition for representing the Member States of Argentina and Barbados at the Model OAS General Assembly in Washington, D.C.

Over 35 students from these two delegations contributed to the passing of 10 Working Group Resolutions on subjects ranging from hemispheric security to migration to economic development.

The three-day conference drew participants from throughout the Americas. Specific awards of merit were given to the following students:

Salvador Padilla '19 and Nadine Daboub, Heads of the Permanent Secretariat

Lindsey Lutz, Best Position Paper, Argentina/Second Committee, Economic Affairs

Junhee Lee '20, Elected Committee Chairperson for Budgetary Affairs, 38th Model OAS
