Georgetown Prep alumni traveled to Manor Country Club in Rockville, Maryland, on Friday, April 26 for the 2019 Little Hoya Golf Classic. This year was the fifth consecutive year Manor hosted the annual Prep alumni golf tournament.
Over 150 Prep alumni across seven decades of classes reunited to enjoy brunch and a great round of golf.
Congratulations to John Caldwell '85, Chris Cusack '85, Jim Molloy '85, and Brendan Walsh '85 on winning this year's tournament with a score of 55 (15 under par)!
Sean Rump '98 won the closest-to-the-pin competition in dramatic fashion by hitting a hole-in-one! John Minich '10 won the longest drive of the day.
The second-place team of Justin Butler '11, Nate Cohan '11, Bobby Gribbin '11, and Sam Spikell '11 recorded a score of 57 (13 under par).
The third-place team of John Malone '79, Dan Paro '79, Chuck Hanley '81 and Stuart Plank '81 scored a 58 (12 under par).
The annual alumni golf tournament proceeds benefit the Fr. Galvin, S.J., and Gus Coupe Scholarship funds.
