Ethan Ristu '24 attended the 2023 West Point Leadership and Ethics Conference on March 16, 2023, at George Mason University Arlington Campus. Each year, over 200 local high school juniors participate in the workshop.

The American Association of Teachers of French is pleased to announce that Javier Correa '23 has received a 2023 AATF Outstanding Senior in French Award. This award is made annually to one student per school. The student has demonstrated excellence in the study of French as well as exceptional commitment to the French language and the many cultures where it is spoken. 

The AATG (American Association of Teachers of German) hosted an Award Ceremony on May 7, 2023 at UMBC. Several Prep students were German National Exam gold and silver medalists.

The Prep Red Cross Club organized a Blood Drive on Tuesday, April 25, 2023. Many students, faculty, staff and parents took the time to donate. We are particular proud of all the first time donors, especially our students. Prep had a total of 59 participants and were able to collect a total of 53 units of blood, which will go on to save an estimated 147 lives. It was the most successful high school blood drive in Montgomery County this school year!!

Congratulations to the International Relations Club who hosted this year's National High School Model Arab League at Georgetown Preparatory School on April 28-29.

At the end of April, our freshmen were on a a Spiritual Pilgrimage on the Appalachian Trail. They had the opportunity to reflect on their experience at Georgetown Prep as they explored what it means to be a student at a Jesuit school.
