Outstanding Senior in French AATF Award to Javier Correa '23

The American Association of Teachers of French is pleased to announce that Javier Correa '23 has received a 2023 AATF Outstanding Senior in French Award. This award is made annually to one student per school. The student has demonstrated excellence in the study of French as well as exceptional commitment to the French language and the many cultures where it is spoken.

Blood Drive Success

The Prep Red Cross Club organized a Blood Drive on Tuesday, April 25, 2023. Many students, faculty, staff and parents took the time to donate. We are particular proud of all the first time donors, especially our students. Prep had a total of 59 participants and were able to collect a total of 53 units of blood, which will go on to save an estimated 147 lives. It was the most successful high school blood drive in Montgomery County this school year!!

At the end of April, our freshmen were on a a Spiritual Pilgrimage on the Appalachian Trail. They had the opportunity to reflect on their experience at Georgetown Prep as they explored what it means to be a student at a Jesuit school.
