Carter Jillings ’26 - Finalist for WTOP TOP Kids Awards
Sophomore Carter Jillings was selected as a finalist in the WTOP TOP Kids Awards because of his work serving the homeless in Washington, D.C. with St. Paul’s Parish’s Grate Patrol. Carter volunteers many weekend mornings with Grate Patrol. The volunteers spend the morning handing out a bagged breakfast and coffee to homeless people in Washington, D.C.
Golf Clubs arrive in Kenya!
Rúa Kimotho ’24 collected golf clubs and supplies for the golf team at Alliance High School in Kenya. Alliance High School is one of the highest academically performing secondary schools in Kenya. Their golf team is made up of 10 passionate scholar-athletes who share 2 sets of golf clubs among themselves. Rue sent 10 golf bags and clubs to Alliance High School in Kenya.
Maryland Classic Youth Orchestra
Congrats to freshmen Carter Sweeney who was selected to be in the Maryland Classic Youth Orchestra at Strathmore. Carter began learning violin at age 6 while his family (Navy) was living overseas in Japan.
Ethan Ristu ’24 earns Gregory F. Gannon ’68 Award
Father Van Dyke presented Ethan Ristu ’24 with the Gregory F. Gannon ’68 Award. Ethan is the fifth recipient of this high honor.
Sean Keeley '24 attends Boys State
Over the summer, Sean Keeley ‘24 attended the Texas Boys State in Austin, TX (housed on the campus of UT-Austin). Sean was nominated by an American Legions post to represent them as an attendee.

Immersion Trip to St. Francis Inn
Over the summer, GP offered 8 Immersion Trips to our seniors. The last trip was in early August and to the St. Francis Inn in Philadelphia. The St. Francis Inn Ministries believes in the power of solidarity, hospitality, and compassion.
