Joshua Atayi '25 and Alejandro Pardavila '25 represented Georgetown Prep and the US in one of the top soccer tournaments in Spain. They also competed in several Division 2 friendlies. Out of a total of 9 games, they won 6. Joshua and Alejandro competed with their travel soccer team in Valencia, Benidorm, and Gijon Spain. Out of 50 teams from all over Europe and South America they came in third place, bringing home the silver medal.

Additionally, both boys met and trained with some of Spain’s top professional coaches. Pepe Portoles, former Head Coach for Real Madrid, Valencia and Villareal and Jose Garcia former Head for Valencia CF Professional Youth Development Soccer Academy.
