As part of an annual panel presentation for our junior class, the Office of College Counseling in partnership with the Office of Alumni Engagement invites alumni to present on their educational and career journey. John Tabacco, MD '01, John Rauber '12, and Mateo Aguiar '20 returned to Georgetown Prep to share their inspirational insights and practical advice with the students.

From navigating the college search process to overcoming challenges deciding on a major in order to build a fulfilling career, each speaker brought unique insights:

• Dr. John Tabacco, MD, a dual board-certified internal and sports medicine specialist, emphasized the importance of holistic care and staying active in all stages of life.
• John Rauber, Government Relations Manager for FIFA World Cup 2026, highlighted the power of communication, public policy, and building relationships in shaping global events.
• Mateo Aguiar, a recent UVA graduate and Capital One Business Analyst, shared how internships and personal passions drive growth in finance and real estate.
