- Academics
The AATG (American Association of Teachers of German) hosted an Award Ceremony on May 7, 2023 at UMBC. Several Prep students were German National Exam gold and silver medalists. All gold and silver medalists from the Maryland / Washington DC chapter were invited and given a cash prize, certificates and small gifts.
Our Prep Winners were:
Silver medalist: Louie Lu '23 (level 3)
Gold medalists: Croix Harris '23, Rocky Zhang '23, Sameel Karzai '23 (level 3)
Jack Rhoa '24, David Cao '24, Eric Wang '24, Evan Zhao '24, Paul Luo '24, Ciaran McCleary '24 (level 2)
Two Prep students were in the final round for a summer immersion scholarship: Eric Wang and Ciaran McCleary.
