Thank you to the entire Georgetown Prep community for supporting the 5th Annual Assist Goals Stay Warm Challenge! We gathered as a community to make an impact and we did this with incredible effort and compassion. We were able to not only deliver essential items for those without but also let those in our community know that they are remembered and important. As a Georgetown Prep community, we raised $10,550 and assisted over 300 unhoused neighbors.  Included in this total was the free dress fundraiser which raised $1,175! The Stay Warm Challenge overall made an impact in the lives of over 1000 people in the Maryland, Washington, DC, and Michigan communities. Our local impact specifically supported Two Catholic Charities Shelters, Harriett Tubman Women’s Shelter and Adam's Place Men’s Shelter, Shepherd’s Table, Stepping Stones, Veterans on the Rise, National Center for Children and Families, A Wider Circle, S.O.M.E., Patricia Handy’s Women’s Shelter, Happy Helpers, Father Mckenna Center, and Downtown DC Day Services Center. In addition to delivering 1004 Stay warm bags, we delivered 240 McDonalds Sandwiches, 300 Valentine treats, 60 Cereal Boxes, 54 comforters, 200 mittens, hats and socks for children, extra toiletries and hats, 20 coats, and we set up 3 food distributions. Thank you for Assisting our students in meeting their service Goals and supporting those who are less fortunate in our community. Check out our scoreboard to see our total impact and all the teams that got involved!

Thank you again to all those who participated!
