Georgetown Prep proudly continues its 17-year Jesuit exchange program with Colegio del Salvador in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

This winter, Prep welcomed six students from Colegio del Salvador as they began their exchange experience in the United States. Rooted in our shared Jesuit mission, the program fosters lasting friendships, deepens faith, and promotes formation across borders. We are especially grateful to our generous host families, whose warm hospitality made this experience possible.

During their time at Prep, our Argentine guests fully embraced student life. They participated in AP Spanish classes, joined fencing practice, and took part in a spirited volleyball match and gingerbread house–making competition with the German Club. They also visited the all-girls school Connelly School of the Holy Child, strengthening connections within our broader school community.

Beyond campus, students toured the monuments and memorials along the National Mall in Washington, DC and visited both the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum and the National Museum of African American History and Culture, deepening their understanding of American history and culture. They also participated in a meaningful Service Day alongside Prep sophomores, living out the Jesuit call to be men for and with others.

Each day brought new opportunities for connection, laughter, and cultural exchange—creating memories that will last a lifetime.

This summer, several Prep students will travel to Buenos Aires to continue the tradition, immersing themselves in Argentine culture while strengthening the bonds between our two Jesuit schools.

We thank our host families and campus community for living out the spirit of global brotherhood that defines a Jesuit education.
