Faculty & Staff Directory

Georgetown Prep’s excellent faculty includes 63 instructors. With an average tenure of 13 years at Prep, the faculty ranges from veterans with more than 50 years of service to those beginning their teaching careers. Of the 62 full-time instructors, 87% hold an advanced degree.

Small class sizes, the faculty’s dedication, and the overall 8:1 student-to-teacher ratio all foster an atmosphere of personal attention for every student. Cura personalis, care of the individual, is demonstrated by the close relationships that develop between students and faculty within and beyond the classroom and encourages learning that is meaningful and relevant.

Fun fact: 30 faculty and staff attended a Jesuit high school!

The students at Prep are just the best. I am constantly impressed by their work ethic and love for learning, and their respect and care for each other. Not only are they a lot of fun to teach, but I have also learned a great deal from them and they constantly keep me on my toes.
