Alumni Retreat | December 15
Join our Jesuits and your fellow Georgetown Prep alumni for an afternoon of retreat on campus in the Advent season. Advent is a time of expectation and discernment, and the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius Loyola teach us that the meaning of the Incarnation places us in a deep and dynamic relationship with God. Come for an afternoon of fellowship and prayer.
A continental lunch will be available beginning at 1:00 p.m. in the Southwell Library of Boland Hall.
- 1:15 p.m. - Talk #1: Ignatian contemplation on the Incarnation from the Spiritual Exercises (Fr. Van Dyke) in the Southwell Library, followed by 30 minutes of quiet reflection and 45 minutes of group discussion
- 2:45 p.m. - Sacrament of Reconciliation (Fr. Van Dyke, Fr. David Sauter) in the Chapel of Our Lady of Lourdes
