Program of Study
Prep's program of study prepares each student for success in college. The program is preparatory in the strict sense: every student who graduates will have taken all the units necessary for his admission to college. Each student takes six (6) courses each year.
Minimum requirements for graduation
- English – 4 years
- Religion – 4 years
- Mathematics – 4 years
- Social Studies – 3.5 years
- Lab Science – 2 years
- Latin – 2 years
- Modern Language – 2 years
- Art – 1 sem.
- Music – 1 sem.
- Physical Education – 1 season - 9th and 10th
- Christian Service*
There is a service requirement at each grade level of the Religion Curriculum.
a. Freshmen–small group service and class-wide day of service
b. Sophomores–20 hours of approved service
c. Juniors–20 hours of approved service
d. Seniors–50 hours to be completed during the summer between junior and senior years
*Increase in service hours requirement will take effect in 2013-14 academic year
