Supporting Prep’s Mission

Since our founding in 1789, Georgetown Prep has relied upon the generosity of others to help advance our mission. From the Class of 1869’s Henry Walters, who donated our main building, and the anonymous patroness of the Chapel of Our Lady, to the parents of our current students, Prep’s alumni, parents, and friends have consistently provided us with the resources necessary to transform boys into Men for Others.

Your generous investment in Prep enables us to meet the ever changing needs of educating young men in the 21st century while challenging them to become leaders, living as men of competence, conscience, courage, and compassion. Whether you choose to make a gift to our Annual Fund, or support an endowed fund, your gift will allow Prep to offer our students the best preparation for college; maintain our campus; subsidize our financial aid program; and seize educational and extracurricular opportunities as they arise.

It is through your generosity and the continued support of alumni, parents, and friends that our mission continues. In some way, every student at Prep relies on you. If you have questions about making a gift to Prep, please contact Terry Gormley, Director of Parent Relations and Giving, at or 301-214-1217. Thank you for considering a gift to Prep!
