Georgetown Prep’s rigorous liberal arts curriculum is deeply rooted in Jesuit educational principles that go back to the 16th century—intellectual excellence, reflection, and personal responsibility. Yet our continuous adoption of the latest innovations in technology and teaching techniques ensures that our students develop the skills they need to succeed in the 21st century.
Prep’s small class sizes, faculty involvement, and low student-to-teacher ratio foster an atmosphere of personal attention for every student. The close relationships that develop between students and faculty encourage learning that is meaningful and relevant.
Prep offers 24 Advanced Placement courses, and our students each take an average of four AP classes, with more than 80 percent receiving college credit. A range of electives introduces many students to new subject areas and allows others to pursue long-held passions.
The goal of our thoughtfully planned curriculum and intensive individual attention is to provide the very best college preparation possible.
