| back | | Senior Earns Hockey Honors | | |  Congratulations to goalie PJ McNamara ’12 for being chosen as the Washington Capitals player of the month for January.
PJ, who is the starting goaltender and assistant captain of the varsity hockey team, went 5-0 to begin the new year with a 0.6 GGA (goals against average). Over the course of those five games, PJ faced 114 shots and stopped 111 of them for a save percentage of 97.3%.
His best performance in January was stopping 32 of 33 shots in Prep’s 4-1 win over Calvert Hall.
