| | | | | | | | DC ALUMNI HAPPY HOUR TUESDAY JAN. 10: It’s never too late to ring in the New Year with your fellow alumni! Join us at Redline Gastrolounge in DC from 5:30-8:30PM on Tuesday Jan. 10 for good food, good drinks, and good fellowship!!! Redline is a fun and unique establishment located at 707 G St. NW, near the Verizon Center, and will be offering food and drink specials for members of the Prep group. This event has been created by popular alumni demand, so we hope to see you at Redline on Jan. 10!!!
WRESTLING RANKED NO. 1 IN DC: Prep wrestling is ranked No. 1 in the Washington Post for what is believed to be the first time in school history! Congratulations to Coach Mike Kubik '87 and his outstanding squad! Check out this great story in the Post by clicking here.
GPAA MEETING WEDNESDAY JAN. 11: Please join Alumni Association President Tom Kish ’88 and his cabinet of officers for a GPAA activity planning session Wednesday Jan. 11 at 7pm in the Haaga Family Board Room in Prep’s student center. Items for discussion will include a major Alumni Christian Service project, the burgeoning GPAA Business Network Lunch Series, and many other interesting plans in the works. Get out to Prep and get involved!
NYC ALUMNI COCKTAIL PARTY JAN. 20: Mo Rocca ‘87 will host a cocktail party for Father Marco and alumni in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut on Friday Jan. 20 in New York City. If you will be in New York City that day and would like to attend, please e-mail alumni@gprep.org ASAP, because space is limited and going fast!!!! If you live in NY, NJ, or CT, but did not receive the “evite,” it means we do not have your current postal mailing address. Please update your contact information by clicking here.
MARCH FOR LIFE JAN. 23: Alumni are invited to join the Prep contingent at the annual March for Life, which will be held in DC on Monday, January 23. Those interested should meet in front of Prep’s Chapel of Our Lady at 8:30am that day. The group will travel downtown by Metro to attend Mass with students and alumni from other Jesuit high schools before marching.
CLASSES ENDING IN 2 AND 7, YOUR REUNION IS APRIL 27-28: Alumni in class years ending in 2 and 7, please save the dates April 27-28 for your Reunion. Stag Night will be Friday, April 27, and there is a full schedule of activity for Saturday, including a Prep lacrosse game, Alumni Memorial Mass, and Class Dinner Parties. Stay tuned for details and see you at Reunion!
