FOOTBALL AT LANDON SATURDAY NOV. 5 @ 2:30: Prep’s varsity football team will complete its season tomorrow, Saturday, Nov. 5, at Landon. Kickoff is at 2:30. If you are in the area, come out and help cheer the Little Hoyas to victory in this great rivalry game! Go Prep! Beat Landon!
 
BULLROAST RETURNING TO HANK DIETLE’S NOV. 23: One year after a smashing debut at the legendary watering hole, Prep alumni are taking the Bullroast back to the one and only Hank Dietle's Tavern! Spend the night before Thanksgiving reconnecting with your fellow alumni. Cold beer, warm food, and great friends--all for just $20. For more information and to register, please click here.

ALUMNI TURKEY BOWL TOUCH FOOTBALL NOV. 26: If your hamstrings are starting to ache, it can mean only one thing: it’s getting close to Turkey Bowl time! Alumni of all shapes, sizes, and skill levels are invited to this classic touch football tournament from 10am to 1pm at Prep on the Saturday following Thanksgiving. Teams are not bound by graduation year and can be made up of any combination of alumni. Solo players will be placed on squads and there will be plenty of warm food and beverages available for players and spectators. So if you have a hankering for football that Saturday morning, you have no excuse for being absent! Stay tuned for details!—Turkey Bowl Directors Scott Umosella ‘01 & Rob Clark ‘87.
 
ALUMNI ASSOCIATION MEETING NOV. 9: The second GPAA meeting of the year will take place Wednesday, Nov. 9, at 7pm in the Haaga Family Boardroom in Prep’s student center. The meeting agenda includes: alumni service opportunities; alumni business networking; and format changes for the alumni Turkey Bowl and the alumni basketball tournament. See you there! CHAPIN 1ST, GYENIS 3RD IN IAC CROSS COUNTRY!!! Congratulations to Prep seniors Joey Chapin and Andrew Gyenis for their stellar performance in the IAC Cross Country Championship! Chapin was the overall IAC Champion and Gyenis finished third, leading the Prep squad to an overall third-place finish on Oct. 29 at Agricultural History Farm Park in Derwood, Maryland. Congratulations to these great alumni in training!

SCOTT SMITH MEMORIAL ALUMNI HOCKEY GAME NOV. 23: This year’s game will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 23 at 5:45pm at Cabin John Ice Rink in Bethesda. A dinner and awards ceremony will follow in Prep’s South Room beginning at 7:30. Dress is casual and family and friends are welcome. CLASSES ENDING IN 2 AND 7, YOUR REUNION IS APRIL 27-28, 2012!! Alumni in class years ending in 2 and 7, please save the dates April 27-28, 2012 for your Reunion. Stag Night will be Friday, April 27, and there is a full schedule of activity for Saturday including a Prep lacrosse game, Alumni Memorial Mass, and Class Dinner Parties.
