IAC Championship Saturday: Exciting and successful seasons for Prep baseball and lacrosse will culminate in IAC tournament championship games against Landon tomorrow, Saturday, May 14. Prep baseball, which has clinched a share of the title by going 11-0 in IAC play, will host Landon at 12 noon on Horning Field. A victory would result in the program’s first outright championship since 2003 and second since 1989. Prep lacrosse will play at Landon at 3pm in a winner-take-all final game. Prep lacrosse has been co-champs 3 of the past 4 years and most recently won the title outright in 2006. Both JV programs are also playing for championships. Little Hoya Golf Classic almost sold out: Only 12 spots remain in the 144-golfer field for this year’s alumni golf tournament, to be played Friday, May 20, at Blue Mash Golf Course. 100% of the proceeds will benefit Prep’s Father Galvin Scholarship Fund, so hurry up and reserve one of the final spots by clicking here!
GPAA election results: Congratulations to the newly-elected officers of the Alumni Association, who will serve two-year terms beginning in the fall. President Tom Kish, ’88; Vice President Lane Ryan, ’89; Secretary Carnot Evans, ’87; and Treasurer Chris Ryan, ’87. Thank you and congratulations to the outgoing officers, especially President Rob Clark, ’87, who launched several new initiatives while in office and has the organization poised to make an even greater impact for all alumni.
