Alumni Awards Created in Memory of Transformational Figure

As part of Reunion Weekend 2010 festivities, Prep president Father William George, S.J. will proudly present the inaugural Father Vincent F. Beatty, S.J. Awards at halftime of Friday’s Prep-Landon lacrosse game. The awards, which will be presented to a Man of the Year and Reunion Class of the Year, have been created to honor the legacy of one of the most beloved and important Jesuits in Georgetown Prep history.

Hoya Profile: Juan Jaysingh, '00

As a Prep alum who resides locally, Juan is a familiar and well-loved face around Prep's campus. He has remained closely connected to Prep since his days as a resident student and tennis star from India. Juan holds great memories of his time at Prep — the friends, faces, mentors, and life lessons which have helped him grow and succeed — and he is even helping launch a new tradition by organizing this year’s inaugural alumni tennis tournament.

Prep caught up with Juan to talk about his time at Prep, as he celebrates his 10th reunion this weekend.
