Grand Opening of the George Center

John Hibey, '01, continues to explore his creative side with his film company in DC, D Dot films, which he runs with fellow Prep alum Pat Taylor, '00. Prep caught up with John to talk about his time at Prep and life after graduation.

  • Pete Domenici, Jr., '77, is running for Governor of New Mexico in the 2010 election. More information can be found at http://domeniciforgovernor.com.
  • The class of 1987 gathered in San Diego for the Skins game against the Chargers on January 3, 2010. They attended the game compliments of Reyes Holdings, whose suite happened to be 4 over from where Dan Snyder and Bruce Allen were sitting. Jim Enright reports: "Faithful to our roots, we broke out the “Hail to the Redskins” song every time the Skins scored."   • Jimmy Hillig, '89, was chosen as one of “Alaska’s Top 40 Under 40” for 2010 by the Anchorage Chamber of Commerce and the Alaska Journal of Commerce. The award recognizes the state’s top professionals, younger than 40, who have demonstrated professional excellence and a commitment to their community. Jimmy has resided in Anchorage since 1994 and works for United Way of Anchorage as their Community Engagement Director.
  • Andrew Blume, '96, and his wife, Sharon, welcomed their second child, Zachary Christian, on October 15, 2009. They would also like to belatedly announce the birth of their first child, Claire Sydney, on April 5, 2008.
  • Robert Olson, '09, a freshman guard at Loyola, was named the MAAC Co-Rookie of the Week. The honor was announced by the conference office on January 19. He tallied 20 points in the Greyhounds' win over Marist.
