1. What were some of the important lessons you learned while you were a student at Prep?

I learned how to be a good person, a leader, how to work with others, and I learned about being disciplined in my studies.

2. After Prep, where did you attend college and in what ways do you feel Prep prepared you for college?

After Prep I attended James Madison and earned a BBA in 1979 and a MBA in 1981. I played basketball there and I was the captain of the team in my senior season. While I was in graduate school I developed a love for coaching and coached while I was getting my MBA. My time at Prep taught me how to be ready for life; especially the academic rigors of college. The discipline and work ethic I learned compared to my classmates there were unequaled. I was so far ahead of my classmates that it really gave me a great appreciation for the teachers at Prep and the time and work that they put into making sure we were prepared for college.
