David Chang, '95, Making a Culinary Statement in New York City

When David Chang opened Momofuku Noodle Bar in 2004, he became an instant phenomenon, a ramen noodle wunderkind whose Pan-Asian touch turned a classic Japanese noodle dish into popular and affordable New York street food.

Marcus Mason Earns AFCA All-America Honors

Senior tailback Marcus Mason (Potomac, Md.) is the first Penguin running back since Tamron Smith in 1993 to be named to the American Football Coaches Association All-America team.

Bullroast Wrap-Up

The first Georgetown Prep Bullroast was held Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2006, the night before Thanksgiving. The event, which was held for alumni in the Class of 2002 and older, was a great success with about 80 alumni attending on a cold, rainy night. We hope this event continues to grow and more and more alumni help to make the Bullroast a Prep tradition in years to come.

Is It Always About The Money?

Last year, independent schools in the United States raised over $38 billion in annual donations and most of that money came during the month of December. Georgetown Prep is no different from any other independent school when it comes to the volume of gifts given during December. Where we are different is how we work to make sure our donors feel appreciated and educated about how their contributions directly benefit our young men.

Save Taxes and Make a Difference This Christmas Season

As the year comes to a close, remember that year-end charitable gifts provide much-needed support for us and may produce tax savings.
