Welcome to the Office of the Dean of Students at Georgetown Preparatory School.

Rooted in the Ignatian tradition, our office is dedicated to the development of our students both inside as well as outside the classroom. The Dean’s Office coordinates the extracurricular life of the school, advocates for student needs and services, and oversees the residential program. We work to develop the character of our students with the goal of creating men of competence, conscious, courage, and compassion.

As you can see there is much more to Georgetown Prep than classes and athletic competitions. We encourage all students to get involved in the extracurricular life of the school by participating in at least one sport and an extracurricular activity.

And, at Prep, you have so many choices! You can float the Potomac with our Kayaking Club or debate the latest issues with our nationally recognized Debate team. Join our Oasis Club and utilize our state-of-the-art facilities with your rock band. Develop your mind with our Math Club or lead your peers in Student Government.  Beat the snare drum in Prep's Drumline or do your part to save the planet in our Environmental Club.
