Annual Fund gifts come from alumni, parents, grandparents, friends, foundations, and corporations, and help close the wide gap between Prep’s tuition and its operating expenses. These important unrestricted annual contributions help to fund academic and athletic programs, faculty salaries, buildings and grounds maintenance, and financial aid. To make an Annual Fund gift, please click here.
Matching Gifts occur when participating companies match (sometimes up to three times) the amount of dollars given to Prep by their employees and spouses, or retirees. Prep will count your matching gift toward your membership in the Leadership Gift Clubs, but the company will only match your gift after you have followed the required procedure. To have your company match your gift to Prep, please click here.
Endowment Gifts are placed in a permanent fund and only a percentage of earned income is spent; the principal remains invested. Prep has endowment funds for financial aid, faculty salaries and development, and building and ground maintenance. The larger the endowment, the more income Prep will have to support the operating budget.
Planned Gifts are a long-term method of supporting the school. An example of a planned gift would be naming Prep as a beneficiary in one's will. Other planned giving mechanisms include charitable remainder unitrusts, life insurance policies, and transfers of residence and personal property where the donor retains a life estate.
