Violation of this policy may constitute trespassing. Requests may be denied for any reason.

Exceptions to this policy include:

  • Georgetown Preparatory School students and school staff;
  • Scheduled athletic competitions, which may be photographed, taped or filmed by the following parties without prior approval: media, families of Georgetown Preparatory School students, families of students from a visiting team, coaches, college scouts, and other parties with a legitimate reason to record the athletic competition;
  • Official school events open to the school community or public, including theater performances, concerts and graduation;
  • Private events held on the property of Georgetown Preparatory School, including weddings and bookings in the Hanley Center for Athletic Excellence;
  • Other exceptions that may be made on a case-by-case basis.

To request approval to photograph, tape, film or otherwise record images or sound on the property of Georgetown Preparatory School, please contact Kim Yue at 301-214-8639 or kyue@gprep.org. Requests should be made at least 72 hours in advance.
