Prep’s alumni are a distinguished group and their ties to their alma mater remain strong long after graduation. Alumni continue to participate at Prep through reunions and other events, such as golf tournaments and barbecues, and they also give back to the school through teaching, coaching, serving on various boards, and by providing financial support to Prep’s fundraising efforts.
Many alumni use their Prep connections for networking and to offer career advice, internships and jobs to current students and recent graduates. There are also alumni who send their own children to Prep to be educated in the Jesuit tradition.
There are about 5,000 living alumni, and many return to Prep for five- and ten-year reunions in addition to annual athletic and alumni events, including Homecoming, the Little Hoya Golf Classic, and the Bullroast, which debuted in November 2006.
